Other sources of funding
The Christchurch Earthquake Appeal Trust has allocated available funds to projects and is no longer receiving requests for funding.
There are a number of alternative funding providers, for more information on what ones you may be eligible for, see the chart below or visit the Funding Information Service website for an overview of available funding options relevant to your specific project or initiative.

Support for businesses affected by the earthquakes - This could include assistance with costs for relocating, IT and telecommunication, or access to expert advice. |

Rotary Neighbourhood Project |
Small grants for locally initiated projects that contribute towards improving wellbeing and building resilient communities and neighbourhoods. Grants are between $500 and $4,000. |

Canterbury Community Trust Special Fund |
Special Fund includes: Social Housing Partnership Fund ($10 million); Ngai Tahu Partnership Fund ($2 million); Rebuild Community Fabric Fund ($6 million); Event Development Fund for community events and programmes, and major events ($1.9 million); A Regional Fund ($5.1 million) will be made available to the Trust’s other regions, being Nelson/Marlborough and the Chatham Islands. |
