Our online credit card payment method doesn't record your contact details, so if you have donated and would like to kept in the loop with the progress we make thanks to donations like yours, simply contact us with your email and/or postal address.

Westpac will waive the international service fee usually charged for any donations made overseas by telegraphic transfer. These fees will be waived both for donations made in New Zealand currency or foreign currency. If you’re making a donation from overseas, you may still be charged by your local bank.

If you have made a donation of more than $5 at a Westpac branch or from overseas and would like to receive a donation receipt, please email email@example.com, with “Donation receipt” on subject line. In your email message, please request a donation receipt, state your name, address, the donation value and date of your donation.
Below is a table containing information regarding tax relief agreements with a list of countries. If you wish to receive tax relief in your country, and it isn’t listed, please refer to your local revenue agency or contact your Red Cross to see if they able to channel funds through to the New Zealand Red Cross.

|Australia||The Australian Government has listed the Appeal as a “deductible gift recipient” (DGR), meaning that donations to the Appeal will have the same tax position as donations made to Australian charities. The listing will be effective until 22 March 2013. It applies to donations of $2 or more.|
|United Kingdom||The New Zealand High Commission in London has set up a charitable trust allowing donors to receive tax relief from their donation. |Canada||The Canada Revenue Agency has advised that the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal is now a “qualified donee” for Canadian income tax purposes.|
